Overview

An interesting walk starting from the village of Coleford starting from the British Legion club towards Highbury and then Upper Vobster first passing the Stone Works and Page House, with the Vobster Quay Dive and Outdoor swimming centre in view. Crossing the road at Vobster Cross continuing in the direction of Mells before turning back down Pople's Lane crossing several fields and through woods towards Old Vobster church of St Edmund now a residential property. From the church continuing up through fields towards the top of Stock Hill before crossing the road and down into the valley further into the countryside towards Coleford and the Holy Trinity church returning back to the BL club parking area.
