Overview

A glorious hill walk with great views. From the historic village of Edington we walk  through English farmland before climbing up to the northern edge of Salisbury Plain.  Here skylarks abound and the walking is mainly on tracks.  We drop back into the valley at Coulston and back to Edington, the site of an important battle in 878.
