Overview

A walk in Nottinghamshire

The walk starts in Colliers Wood and goes via Moorgreen Reservoir and Felley Mill along Weaver's Lane to the remnants of Annesley Old Church and Hall. Returning via Dog and Bear Lane through Park Forest to Greasley.  We return through Moorgreen to Colliers Wood.

It is mostly on good tracks with some paths through woodland and fields, no stiles, no livestock.

The car park is free without facilities.

It is 10 miles, 750 ft up hill. There are no toilets or cafes on the walk so we need to be self sufficient by bringing a packed lunch.

Optional après-walk gathering in the nearby Horse and Groom pub.
