From Colzium Estate, Kilsyth, we make our way to Banton Loch. After a short break at Banton we go down to the Forth and Clyde canal. A short distance along at Craigmarloch we leave the canal and take paths back to Colzium.
Tea break at Banton. Lunch at end of walk in Walled Garden. Tea, coffee and cakes in Colzium Cafe.

Park in first car park on left as you enter estate, beside pond.
A mixture of woodland paths, canal towpath, pavements and minor road. Paths are muddy but may dry out a bit. One short incline at Banton, otherwise it is a flat walk.
The walk will be taken at a leisurely pace.
An easy walk for anyone just starting walking or recovering from illness.
