Overview

A lovely local walk, starting from the Jubilee Pavilion at Compton.  The walk takes in sections of the Monarch's Way, Itchen Way and Otter Trail, passes over Shawford Down, along the Itchen, through Otterbourne Woods, across Cranbury Park, through the lovely village of Hursley and along country tracks back to Compton.

Please bring provisions for a coffee stop and picnic lunch.

There is bound to be mud, somewhere!  The climb up through Otterbourne woods can be tricky when wet so bring poles if you find them useful.

If you don't regularly attend our weekend walks, it would be appreciated if you could inform the walk leader if you would like to join us, by 8pm the day before.

Please ensure you carry your Ramblers In Case of Emergency (ICE) card.
