Congleton Park, River Dane & Macclesfield Canal, 5 miles

We start the walk following the River Dane out of the park onto River Dane Road. Crossing the A54 onto Tommys Lane and the pathway to Biddulph Valley Way.

We exit onto the Macclesfield Canal, changing sides on the tow path at Roving Bridge, pass through Congleton Wharf and stop for our tea/coffee break at Snail Bridge.

We make our way to Congleton town to pick up the River Walk back to the park.
