A virtually flat walk in peaceful Sussex countryside with occasional pleasant views towards the Downs. Little used footpaths and quiet lanes wind through the various settlements of Barcombe to reach the Anchor Inn's riverside location for a lunch stop. There will not be time for a pub meal so please bring a packed lunch to be eaten away from the pub. The second part of the walk follows the Sussex Ouse Valley Way to Lewes which includes some attractive riverside walking.
Please note that the published finishing time is an estimate only and will be dependent on the weather, the speed of the group and the number of stops taken.
