A pleasant walk through hidden valleys with distant views of the City and along the Darent Valley path in the afternoon. Undulating in part of the morning section with some short but steep ascents and descents but fairly flat in the afternoon. We will stop for lunch in Shoreham village where there is a churchyard and a nearby pub with time for drinks only - please bring a packed lunch.
There are toilet facilities at Eynsford station but these are not always open so using the toilet on the train is advised.
Exit point after about 5 miles at Shoreham station.
Travel: Train from London Charing Cross 10.29, London Bridge 10.38 change at Swanley for the 11.06 train to Eynsford arriving at 11.11am
Alternatively take the 10.16 train from London Blackfriars arriving at Eynsford at 11.11am.
Return trains every half an hour.
