A nice walk mostly on well made tracks from Cosgrove to Passenham via Old Stratford. We will start from the Barley Mow pub in Cosgrove and make our way to the Grand Union Canal and then along the towpath to the Grand Junction Aqueduct. Leaving the canal here, we will walk alongside the River Great Ouse to Old Stratford and then on tracks and across fields towards Passenham. We will join a quiet country road to walk into the village before heading back to Old Stratford across fields and then on towards Cosgrove where we will join and then follow the disused Old Stratford Cut back to Cosgrove.
The Barley Mow has a sizeable car park but please only use this if you intend visiting the pub after the walk. There is some parking available across the road from the pub for those who don't wish to use it.
There's one busy road to cross twice but each time there is an island in the middle of the road.
Some of the fields have sheep grazing in them.
