There is a short section of slippery rock and there will be muddy places.  Boots and sticks are suggested.

If anyone would like to do a 4 mile walk, they could join at the start, and then cut back for the last half mile along a quiet road.

Park on the grass by the road leading down to the river Tees. If going west through the village, turn right down a narrow lane opposite the Fox and Hounds pub, and then fork left at the next junction.
