Overview

This 8:5 mile walk takes in another four attractive Cotswold villages which are scattered across undulating hills; Stanton, Stanway, Snowshill & Buckland. The terrain is a mixture of road, track & pasture.

The walk starts at the Village Hall car park in Stanton & follows part of the Cotswold Way to pass Stanway House where the worlds tallest gravity fountain can be seen (summer only). The main climb is up through Longpark Wood & from there we descend to Snowshill for lunch. We continue the inclines & decents to reach Buckland & return to Stanway.

There are 2 stiles. Sorry but no dogs, unless for assistance.

Please bring food & drink for a coffee & lunch stop.
