Overview

Please join us for a 6.8 mile circular walk starting at Swinyard Car park, visiting the Eastnor Obelisk,  continuing through the Eastnor Park returning through Gospel Oak and Foxhall back to Swinyard Car park.  There is mud in places and some surface water so please wear appropriate footwear. Please note that this walk has 1297ft of ascent as it involves traversing in both directions, and so it is hillier than many of our recent Thursday walks. There is only one stile on the route but a lot of sheep on the Eastnor Estate. There is some walking on lanes but only one major road encounter (A438) near Eastnor which requires walking on the wide verge for 200m. Please bring a drink and snack for the mid-walk break.
