Overview

Starting from the East Town Park in Haverhill, we will visit Birdbrook Hall and church, skirt Steeple Bumpstead and then head to Helios Bumpstead church for lunch.  In the afternoon, we will return to Haverhill.

The walk uses a number of the disused railway lines that cross Haverhill, field paths and a couple of stretches of minor road.  Note that there are a number of field crossings on the walk.

Please bring a packed lunch.  Walkers will be able to visit the Three Horseshoes pub in Helios Bumpstead for a drink, should they so wish.
