Coxhoe
A moderate circular walk of approximately 8 miles. Starting from Coxhoe Athletic FC car park, we will make our way to the woodland in Cornforth for lunch before heading back via the disused Railway track and old "Art Galleries". There are some "claggy and soggy," areas during the walk, so you might want to bring your gaiters and walking poles if you use them.
An option for a short walk will also be available.
Coxhoe Athletic FC car park, please note the Football club’s postcode will not take you to the correct location, so please use DH6 4LA. From the A1M southbound, leave at Junction 61 and turn left on to the A688 east. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit on to the B6291. After approximately 0.7 of a mile turn left on to the housing estate (as you turn in you will see the Paving Factory on your right). Take the 2nd right after about 50 metres on to a small track leading to the Football club car park (despite what your Satnav might be saying!).
