We are the Ramblers group for eastern Carmarthenshire. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
We start at Craig y Nos and immediately start the climb up Cribarth. At the top we will have a coffee stop and admire the views. The route down takes us to the village of Ynyswen where we cross the main A4067 road and continue to the confluence of Afon Tawe and Nant Llech where we will have lunch. The route to Henrhyd Falls will be by following the Nant Llech valley. After visiting the Falls we return to Criag y Ros via fields, tracks and the Beacons Way.
The Nant Llech valley footpath follows the gorge and is long (approx. 2 miles) and narrow, using foot boards in the more difficult areas. However it is regularly used by visitors to Henrhyd Falls. Expect some mud! Cafe and toilets at Craig y Nos Country Park.

Park free in the lay-by next to the riding school south of Craig y Nos Hotel, or park in Craig y Nos Country Park for a fee.
