Starting near Craig Y Nos we climb a steep zigzag path onto the dramatic escarpment of Cribarth. From there the going gets easier as well follow an old tramway along, deviating to visit the summit trig point (optional) before descending to Abercraf and crossing through the village and over the main road.
From here we follow the path alongside the Nant Llech through woods for about 1.5 miles to Henrydd Falls where we have the option of walking behind the falls. Where apparently the entrance to the Batcave is.
The route back is a mix of country lanes, fields and woodland tracks and will end at Craig Y Nos country park where there is a cafe.
The path along the valley is slippy and overgrown in places with some fallen trees. It is passable without too much effort but not the easiest walking.
We have an option of booking Sunday lunch at the Ancient Briton after the walk but I would need to know interest in advance.
