Meet at the historic Croick Church in the adjacent parking area. We will then walk along the trail that links the west coast (Ullapool) and east coast (Ardgay) which runs along the main river. The path is mainly tracked, but can be boggy in places, but is a well-used recreation route so is easily marked. We will walk for about 5.5 miles dependent on the group and then return by the same way after lunch (no we won’t get to Ullapool for fish and chips!). A relatively relaxed walk with some inclines but nothing too severe. At the end of the walk there will be time to wander around the church and see the engraved names on the windows.
Meet at old UHI 0830 for lifts from Inverness or at the start location (Croick Church) at 10:00am
