From the main car park in Clapham we head towards the charming village of Austwick and onto the lanes to Wash Dub on Austwick Beck. We then ascend the dry waterfall at Studrigg Scar to reach the trig point with stunning views of the Yorkshire Three Peaks. We then traverse the broad limestone pavements of Moughton Scars. From Thieves Moss we have a gentle walk along the Pennine Bridleway before passing Robin Proctors Scar, a favourite spot for climbers, and back to Clapham for well earned refreshments.
This walk includes several high ladder stiles, a long section of limestone pavement and we will encounter some livestock with young, therefore I would not recommend it for dogs, please contact leader for more details.
