We are the Newark Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The walk begins at the village hall in Cuckney between St Mary’s church and the Greendale Oak inn. The going is easy mainly on wide tracks with a couple of gentle to moderate gradients climbing ( short) to Cuckney dam on the River Poulter.
We reach the Church Warsop village centre half way through the walk with 2 churches ,a former mill and the Carrs local nature reserve worthy of exploration.
No toilets accessible. Refreshments at the Greendale Oak inn Cuckney.
We will have a coffee stop and lunch break.
