Overview

This walk starts in the lovely village of Cuckney with its 12th Century church and the historic Greendale Oak public house. In the second half of the walk we visit Church Warsop with its imposing parish church of St Peter and St Paul. This village is also home to The Carrs Nature Reserve.

The walk is mainly over undulating fields and forestry tracks that give an excellent view of the surrounding villages. However there is a fair amount of walking on tarmac lanes linking parts of the walk and therefore it is unsuitable for dog walkers.

Please register for this walk on Newark Ramblers website where you will also find details of our car share scheme.
