There’s much to discover on this gentle and engaging walk from Currie. We’ll follow quiet farm tracks and return beside the peaceful Water of Leith, uncovering tales of fascinating characters who once visited or called this village home.
Along the way, we’ll pass the historic walled garden of Malleny House, hear whispers of a ghost story or two, & if we are lucky spot some local wildlife.
This is more than just a walk; it’s a step into the past, a moment in nature, and a chance to explore hidden stories in beautiful surroundings.
Places are limited to 20 so it is essential to book a place with the Walk Leader by no later than the day before.

For car sharing please meet in the Livingston North Railway Station car park (Glasgow side) at 6.20 pm.
The walk will start from the car park located between Pentland View Park & Baynes bakery on Lanark Road West, Currie at 6.45pm.
