The Cut

3.1 miles/5km.  Ascent: 100m

A pleasant walk with a gentle ascent at start following John Buchan Way and then leaving JBW we turn south along forestry road with good views across to Peebles Hydro and town  below. Returning via The Cut ( a straightened section of Crookston Burn), short section of pavement and returning through Victoria Park and back to start.

Walk duration: 1.5 hours
