Overview

Starting at Danebridge, we follow the River Dane to Barleigh Ford Bridge.

Here we join the Gritstone Trail which we follow across Shell Brook and up to Wincle Minn Ridge, with wonderful 360º views (on a good day)!

We descend at Nabbs Hill to Greasley Hollow were we walk along the Wincle road for a short distance before passing Wincle Church and School.

Then returning to the start along a footpath crossing Hog Clough.

Much of the walk is through woods and along watercourses and hopefully we will enjoy superb autumn colours throughout!.

Please notify walk leader if going direct to start.
