We are the Tamworth and Lichfield Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is a circular walk suitable for dogs as there are no stiles. We walk through Darnford Park into open countryside, where there are lovely views. Making our way to Whittington we'll take a break in a local park running adjacent to St Giles' Memorial Gardens. More lovely views in open countryside take us through another side of Whittington, back along the road to the cars.
You are welcome to bring your dog, on condition that they stay on a lead and that you clean up after them. Since car sharing is not feasible with a dog you would need to contact the leader to ascertain the walk start location and make your own way there.
Meet at the Lichfield College car park, off the Friary, at 9.30 am for car sharing.
