A moderate-plus circular walk exploring the Turton and Darwen Moors. We visit the Darwen Tower and follow the Witton Weavers Way. We visit Darwen briefly. Risk assessment: Boggy after bad weather. One steep climb of approx. 800ft. Could be limited visibility. Cross one A road and through urban environment.
