A grade II listed garden, hilly with good views and a fortified medieval ruin. Some stiles. Buy a return to Dorking.

Lunch stop in Brockham – bring a picnic or you can buy filled rolls, cakes, pastries at the village café.
Walk includes optional visits to the Mausoleum at Deepdene and to the ruined Betchworth Castle.
