Overview

Starting at the Devil's Dyke car park, we walk ENE mainly downhill via various paths to Saddlescombe where we cross the busy Saddlescombe Road. We pass the Wildflower Cafe of Saddlescombe Farm and use the South Downs Way to reach the top of West Hill. We then walk North then West across the top of Newtimber Hill and then downhill on a southerly path back to Saddlescombe, We recross Saddlescombe Road and climb steeply back up to the start on the SE side of the dyke with super views down into the Devil's Dyke. Lovely views throughout.
