This flat, 7 mile, figure of eight walk starts at the Colne Valley Visitor Centre before wandering around Denham village and through the golf course before reaching the Grand Union Canal where we will stop at Denham Deep Lock for a DIY alfresco coffee and snack stop. After crossing over the canal bridge the walk takes us alongside the quarry and under the new HS2 bridge before returning to the Visitor Centre after walking beside the canal. Lunch will be at the end of the walk, undercover with a DIY picnic as the cafe is no longer open (but the toilets are). Walk could be muddy if wet. Car sharing suggested as the all day parking is £5.25 (Ringo or card payment).
