We are the Surrey Heath Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A lovely leisurely walk starting from Monachus Lane CP. We’ll walk along the high street past the golf course through quiet lanes and fields to Elvetham Farm. We’ll see some historic buildings on the way including the Elvetham Old Rectory and the stunning Elvetham Hotel. The footpath goes through the churchyard and past the hotel so a brief stop will allow walkers to admire the building. We have one main road to cross before entering woods before rejoining the path walking past St Mary’s church to Hartley Wintney high street.
Carparking and toilets at Monachus Lane. Please ensure you pay for Sunday parking at the machine entering your car registration number. Cafes and restaurants available on high street. Flat walk, but four wooden stiles to climb over. Could be muddy in sections so wear waterproof boots.
