Overview

A walk through the woods and fields around Rudry and Draethen, which takes in Ruperra  Castle  and an historic Iron Bridge. With good weather the walk should provide extensive views over the Wentloog levels and the Severn Estuary, particularly from the Iron Age hill fort, most recently used as a Summer House.

The walk is mainly on forest tracks through woods which may be slippery in wet weather.
