A nice walk for a summer’s day. Starting from the car park at Apperley Village Hall, this route heads across the fields and meadows and through the nature reserve at Coombe Hill. Known as one of the best spots in Gloucestershire for dragonflies, it includes a fine nature walk alongside the old canal. We then proceed through Lower Apperley and take in some of the Severn Way before passing ancient Odda’s Chapel and returning to Apperley. Only a small hill on this walk!
Morning drinks stop & picnic lunch.
