So, we will walk up from the car park through the Dalavich Oak Wood trail to the Avich Water falls, where we will stop for coffee. Then we will walk down to a very short stretch of the C30 road from to get to the start of the forestry track, which is also partly part of the National Cycle Route 78!! We will walk along the side of Loch Awe where there is a stop for lunch. Then heading back on an unused forestry track for a short while, we will head back to Barnaline Car park.
At the end of the walk there is an option to stop for refreshments at the Wild Rowan Cafe in Dalavich.
There will be a Ramblers meet at Lorne Street Car Park, Lochgilphead at 09:30, for those who wish to car share to the start of the actual walk.
It is a dog friendly route, with no risk of livestock encounters. Dogs will need to be on a lead whilst walking on the C30.
Front and back markers will be wearing High visibility jackets.
The shorter alternative walk will be to go from the car park to the waterfalls and then back to the car park.
