Brainport Heritage Trail runs for 2.3 miles through this & neighbouring woodland. View a fascinating ancient sun-ritual site, the ghost of a lost village and follow in the footsteps of early Christians.
It starts on forestry track then turns off along woodland paths down to side of Loch Fyne, The path can be uneven in parts and there is a slight decline down to Loch Fyne and a slight incline going back up to the start of the walk.
Walking sticks would be advisable. There may be an opportunity to stop for a refreshments break but as it is a reasonably short walk there will be no lunch stop.
There is space for a small number of vehicles to park and there will be car sharing from Lorne Street Car Park, Lochgilphead at 09:30.
There are no public toilets available on this walk.
Please consider wet weather clothing on the day and sturdy walking boots.
Dogs are welcome as no livestock issues.
