Overview

BOOKING REQUESTED

North-east to Laythams and Burnside Cottage then an ascent up onto Dunsop Fell and down to Whitendale.  Then gentle stroll down the valley back to Dunsop. Risk assessment: Some hay meadows (long grasses) and heathers, some marshy sections after rain, stony descent down from the fell. Cattle and sheep. Some lane walking but no traffic. The main climb is 800ft over 1.5 miles.
