Overview

BOOKING REQUESTED

From Rowarth to the Cown Edge Way, then on footpaths and minor roads to Chisworth and Holehouse. We pick up the Cown Edge Way again and go up to Coombes Edge. Descend to the Pennine Bridleway and Matley Moor, then across the moor near Blackshaw Farrm to return to Rowarth. Risk assessment: Some rough paths, may be muddy in wet weather.  Some livestock in fields. Moorland walking on stony paths and a small amount of walking on minor roads.  Care needed crossing the A626 twice.
