BOOKING REQUESTED

Downhill  via Church Brow, Bow Green Road and Bowdon 17 footpath to the road and on to the Water Treatment Works.  Then across fields to near Ryecroft Farm, past the café in the woods to Ashley Mill, Grange Road in Bowdon vale and back to the Griffin via Bowdon Park Vale and Richmond Road.  Risk assessment: There is a climb uphill from the park at the end of the walk but it is not difficult and can be taken gradually.  May be muddy in places after rain.

Parking at the Jubilee Rooms, off The Firs, Bowdon (free), or roadside parking on Green Walk. Note that the car park is not the meeting point: walk across Stamford Road to meet near the church, opposite the Griffin Pub, Stamford Road, Bowdon.
