River too high and rain expected
We are the Plymouth Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Once a year it becomes possible to walk a usually inaccessible section of the River Tamar, in a fund-raising event for Dunterton Church. The walk starts and ends at Dunterton Cross, passing through riverside fields and woods, with tea, cake and a BBQ available at the end of the walk. This walk is organised by the church, but Plymouth Ramblers usually join in.
Parking is available 10:30 - 3pm in a nearby field, signed from the road, £5.00 charge towards upkeep of Dunterton church, which will be open.
The walk opens at 11:00, but you can begin at any time after this.
