We are the South East Hants Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Via Eartham Wood, Upwaltham, Crown Tegleaze, South Downs Way (briefly), High Down, East Dean, Selhurst Park. Should be good views if weather kind. Plenty of woodland and autumn colour and fruitfulness. Only slightly more climbing than we usually do but the hills do tend to be steeper. I won't be doing the hills at speed. Resting is allowed. We pass three war memorial sites.
Coffee and lunch stops, bring flask and sandwiches as wanted.
Woodland, Downs, and a few slippery chalk paths.
Park and meet in Eartham Wood car park. If coming north on the A285 turn sharp right into lane about 3 miles NE of Halnaker signposted to Eartham. Car park is a few hundred metres on left.
