We are the Hammersmith, Fulham & Wandsworth Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A 7.5 mile walk through open spaces and lesser known London parks. Easy pace and mostly flat, with two easy climbs.
Route: Wormwood and Little Wormwood Scrubs Nature Reserves, Kensal Green Cemetery with its striking memorials, Roundwood Park and Gladstone Park, both with good views.
Food: we will stop in the cafe in Roundwood Park.
Travel Details: Underground to East Acton on the Central Line. Arrive at 11.00, and we will meet outside as this is a station with little space for waiting.
Finish: at Neasden Underground on the Jubilee Line.
Drop-out-points: at various places including buses.
Ticket: Oyster/Freedom Pass.
Meet just outside East Acton Underground Station (Central Line).
Finish at Neasden Underground Station (Jubilee Line).
