Overview

A well-known route from East Meon, going first to Small Down - ascent 130 m steep for a short time - for views over the area. Then on to meet South Downs Way and descend slowly towards hamlet of Drayton. Then through farmland back to East Meon village. 

There are several stiles, none difficult, and there is a small amount of time on quiet lanes.

Total distance is 5 miles, but this could be reduced to 4 if necessary - for example if weather is extremely hot or extremely wet.
