Via Three Castles Path and Ox Drove. Picnic lunch.
Taking the Three Castles Path out of Upper Wield towards Godsfield through woodland and open country where extensive views are enjoyed. A track then takes us past Godsfield Farm and a converted chapel. We join a quiet lane to Lower Lanham and soon The Ox Drove greets us. This broad ancient drove way passes Upper Lanham Farm to join a lane and soon a footpath alongside Barton Copse. the path veers towards Upper Wield across two fields and returns us past the church.
Gently undulating countryside with no steep hills. Some mud may be encountered in the sheltered woods. Just two stiles near the end of the walk. Some lovely mown grass paths when recced.
Parking places at village hall if no event taking place. Additional parking available near phone box
