Overview

An easy rural wander at a gentle pace, featuring two favourite local commons. This walk is really an extended version of the Nuthatch Trail on Whitmoor Common: we start beside the railway to Mount Pleasant, around the fringes of Whitmoor Common to Jordan Hill, then on to Rickford Common and later we pass Gooserye (a rather impressive house). Mainly on good paths, there's one hill (not steep) and no stiles.
