Before Summer departs it's time for a walk across the Welsh hills with spectacular views and dramatic scree slopes. This walks starts from the LLangollen Panorama Walk (roadside parking) and ascends Eglwyseg along a broad ridge overlooking the River Dee and the Vale of Langollen. We cross the moors to reach Worlds End and descend to the Offa's Dyke footpath. Here we follow the National Trail across the spectacular scree fields below Eglwyseg. Returning to our start point passing beneath the ruins of Castell Dinas.
Llangollen is described as the landscape of legends.
Excellent Welsh moorland walk with extensive views.
Based on the outskirts of Llangollen which offers a fine selection of tea rooms and hostelries for a post-walk refreshment.
