We are the Rutland Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Route will head west to Rutland Water and follow the shore to Whitwell where we turn North to Exton. We'll head East towards the lower lake near Fort Henry then follow the path South to Empingham.
Dogs on lead please as we pass through some fields with sheep and lambs.
A few stiles. A few short muddy stretches but generally not bad underfoot.
Please consider car sharing to reduce pressure on car parking spaces.
In the event of severe weather please contact the leader on the day of the walk to check the walk is still on.
Meeting at the church. Please park in the village with consideration for residents.
