We are the West Berkshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
We head out of Wash Common past the water tower and descend to the Kennet & Avon Canal.
Walking westwards along the Canal we pass Guyer's Lock and Higg's Lock before turning southwards at Benham Bridge to reach the Enborne Road and proceeding (carefully!) to join Church Lane.
Our route passes Two Cocks Farm before joining the Berkshire Circular Route just north of Avery's Pightle and returning via Skinner's Green and Wash Common Farm.
Please bring a drink and snack for a mid-walk break.
There is no limit on numbers and no need to book.
Please park in Falkland Cricket Club car park as close to the entrance as practicable.
