We are the Cleveland Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Circular walk approx 6 miles. Assistance dogs only.
On a clear day, this walk offers stunning views.
From the car park, the walk uses Sandy Lane and public footpaths to skirt the edges of Soap Well, Fir Rigg and Raisbeck Woods. We then cross a field downhill to use the newly restored Tocketts Mill bridge. Climb out from Tocketts Beck and follow paths via Tocketts House to Tocketts Mill. A short climb through woodland and we cross fields to then circle back through Errington Woods.
There will be a ten minute break. Please feel free to bring a drink/snack to enjoy.
Livestock in two of the fields. Cows and sheep. No problem experienced on recces. Vegetation is high in a few places but passable. 3 stiles.
