This walk follows a number of loops and spurs close to the village of St Just in Roseland. We will walk by the scenic St Just Creek and then alongside the Fal before following the military road to Turnaware Beach, an embarkation point for the D Day landings. Returning to St Just after almost seven miles some walkers may choose to finish here and enjoy the new café by the car park. Alternatively there is an additional loop heading south with excellent views of the Carrick Roads before dropping down to the river again for the return, bringing the total to 10 miles.
Since St Just in Roseland is some distance from our usual locations the start time is 10:30am and you might choose to get there via the King Harry Ferry (£11 return).
