This is a linear 12 mile walk between Truro and Penryn train stations. It's a moderate walk despite the distance. We begin walking from Truro railway station past the back of County Hall, then along approximately 1 mile of road at which point it gets interesting: there are lovely lanes, fields, open moor, woods and mineworks aplenty on this walk.
Note the early 9.28 am start time explained below.
I recommend meeting at Penryn train station (free parking on the road or paid at the station) to catch the 9.28 am train to Truro. We will walk back to the cars. You also have the option of meeting us outside Truro station (our train is due to arrive at 9.43 am) then catching the train back from Penryn at the end of our walk.
We all know that trains are somewhat unreliable these days. If the 9.28am train to Truro is cancelled then we will wait for the 9.59 am train. If that too is cancelled Liam will lead a circular walk starting from Penryn station.
