This walk begins in the car park, Burton Road,Hornsea. It is probably the first time we have done this type of walk and should be a memorable experience.
From the car park we make our way to Mappleton and walk along a sand and shingle beach and return back the same route.
During the recce we found young lobsters and crabs due to rough seas. Along the way we may find other marine creatures, fossils and other points of interest,as well as good views of Flamborough Head.

🥾 As expected this walk is flat with wide open spaces and scenic views. The cliffs in this area are eroding rapidly making them a potential source of fossils. As we all know it's important to stay away from the bottom of the cliffs because of erosion and be mindful of potential falling boulder clay cliffs.
