We are the Brighton and Hove Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A hilly circular 10 mile walk starting from Falmer Pond and walking to Lewes. Picnic lunch in Lewes, before returning to the start via Kingston and the SDW. Undulating, with one steep climb on the return leg.
People have the option of returning by train to Falmer or Brighton from Lewes at lunch / half way if desired.
There is free parking at Falmer Pond. The train from Brighton departs at 09.58 and arrives in Falmer at 10.04. Then a short 15 minute walk through the Amex football stadium to join the start point at Falmer Pond.
If you can, please RSVP to this walk via our Meetup site. This will give the walk leader a rough idea of how many people may be attending. If you are a paid up member of the Ramblers organisation, you can ignore any waitlist you may find yourself on.
We don't ask you to pay to join us on your first three walks. Afterwards, in order to continue walking with our group, you must become a paid-up member of the Ramblers.
